@jamibann Hi Issi I own my snowshoes and they are Atlas snowshoes.
They are aluminum and lightweight, the length is determined by your weight.
They have claws beneath them to help with hills. We usually go out on packed trails where shorter snowshoes work better. Hope You get to try snowshoeing this winter, it’s a lovely past time and almost effortless just like walking.
@radiogirl Thank you! We have tried a couple of times (using rented shoes) in France, and really enjoyed it. There is not a lot of opportunity here in Scotland for this (snow never guaranteed when you want it). However, with a daughter in Norway, we feel we might have the opportunity there sometime as well. It's always easier to have your own shoes and sometimes it's difficult to choose as there is often too much choice! Thanks for the info.
