Just got some flaming motorcycle boots and a pumpkin colored helmet for today's ride to Julian in San Diego county. We rode almost 275 miles--what a long day! First time on the freeway in the fast lane doing 70 mph--whoa that was a rush. No I wasn't driving, just taking the backseat but had to watch out for bumps and on turns. The winding roads in the hill country were loads of fun. Missed out on Julian's famous apple pie because the lines were too long and had to get home before dark. At least my jeans will still zip!
