Wish Upon a Star

I was driving on the coast earlier tonight and noticed how incredibly clear the sky was. So I pulled over, grabbed my camera off the front seat and ran down to the beach where I found a young couple hand in hand gazing at the sunset. Took a number of shots, then walked back to my car. Just before I stepped off the sand, I turned around and took this one last photo. You can see Santa Catalina Island, 26 miles away, three freighters in the harbor and Venus setting. It was quite a sight. Best viewed large.
