Headed to the North Shore of Oahu this morning hoping to catch sight of some big waves. Last week we heard there were some 30-footers! Alas no giant waves today but we set up on a beach past Waimea Bay and had a great time watching the surfers ride the smaller ones. It was hard to get a sharp image since the waves were breaking about 500 yards off shore. This was the best of the lot.
Wow, I just looked at every one of your pictures. They are beautiful and progressively got better and better. I just started Jan. 1 and hope to see the improvement in my project that I see in yours.
I love living in Ohio but your life on the coast makes me miss the ocean so much. Has me thinking I need to live near the ocean again. Maybe someday!!!
@triciakano Thanks for your comment! I really appreciate it! When I started 365 in Sept. I was a bit intimidated at the thought of posting everyday, not to mention concern about not being at the skill level I was seeing in many of the other photos. I'm still not where I'd like to be but I've noticed that I've made progress simply by taking photos daily and looking for photos opportunities as I go about my life. I'm hooked and I'll bet you will be too, if you aren't already!
What a great capture!! I'm so envious that you're in Oahu! Where are you staying? Will you head to other islands as well? We had such a great time there in December! Have fun -- enjoy a shaved ice or two!
