Saguaro National Park by redy4et

Saguaro National Park

Tucson is home to the giant Saguaro cactus, with its distinctive tall trunk and numerous curved arms that branch upward. The iconic cactus is native to the Sonoran Desert and can grow to 50 feet tall. The loop drive through the park, some of which is unpaved and very bumpy, took us through a dense forest of cacti and Ocotillo trees.
Nice sky! I spent a year flying back and forth to Tucson once a week for a project, and never got to the Saguaro National Park (or, much beyond my hotel and the project site, for that matter!)....I bet it was gorgeous.
