These lovely orange "Bush Lillies" grow all along the east side of the house. They bloom once a year in the Spring and I love seeing them through the picture windows from the living room. I'm continuing my March flower/macro theme and practicing manual focus.
You are so fortunate to have these growing in your yard! We just bought some lilies at the store tonight -- that's the only way we'll have them. This is a beautifully done comp, with smooth colors and lighting.
The colour of flowers never ceases to amaze me and the colours in this image are absolutely beautiful. Exposure/focus is spot on and the black shadowy background completes a wonderful shot. Fav!
