The iconic building with the spire the right is the The Villa Riviera, built in 1928 in the Tudor Gothic style. At the time, the sixteen- story building in downtown Long Beach was the second tallest in Southern California. I remember it from my childhood because my uncle owned the fine dining restaurant on the first floor. I always thought of this place as a castle. Originally operated as a hotel and apartment complex, the Villa was converted to condos in the 90's and is now listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Did you use an HDR program? This is so tack sharp with great lines, color tones and details. Wonderful shot -- I would have thought it was a longer exposure than it was.
