Passed these poppies waving in the wind on my morning walk. They provide a colorful welcome to our neighborhood supermarket-- planted right near the front entrance. The petals are so thin they resemble tissue paper.

Love the way you captured that yellow one in the foreground. Love poppies.... I think they look beautiful in clusters. You know what I just thought about? You and I should make a date to go to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad and photograph the ranunculi.
