Not only was car traffic ridiculous this weekend in the Southland, boat traffic was challenging as well.
Since the roadways were practically at a standstill, we took to the water but there were so many boats that maneuvering to sail out of the marina took some effort. Once we were a couple miles off shore, we relaxed and let the wind carry us along. When you're at sea, all is right with the world.
