It was pelting down rain as we watched the night unfold from an overpass on a busy street in Yangon. Pedestrians ran across during occasional lulls in the endless stream of traffic. At the end of the road is the city's iconic shrine, the Swedagon Pagoda, lit up in red. I had an umbrella but no tripod so this shot was handheld.
Was this on your last night in Yangon? I still don't have a good picture of the Schwedagon Pagoda, except for the one in a calendar that our guide sent us after the trip! Sometimes I think that's a good enough reason to go back....that, and the Rock!! ;-))
