There’s more to Easter island than just the Moai statues. It’s a tropical paradise, not unlike parts of Tahiti or Kauai. Although we visited in Winter, I was happy to doff the layers I’d been wearing in mainland Chile to enjoy the afternoon sun. It rained some most days but then the sun come out just before sunset.
