My neighbor a couple houses away has a pet parrot whose job it is to squawk loudly. We had drinks on their patio a couple weeks ago, distancing appropriately. Calypso sat next to me on top of the barbecue trying to chew on my camera strap. I think he’s a Red-Crowned Amazon. Some of these parrots live 50 to 75 years.
