On a morning walk, I discovered this sailboat washed up on the beach after a cyclone battered the Hawaiian Islands with heavy rains and fierce winds earlier this week. Mother Nature redeemed herself with a spectacular sunset the day after the storm as if to say sorry for wrecking havoc on paradise.
What a wonderful capture of this not too common scene. One can only hope that it was not too badly battered. Have you been back to check if it is still there? Maybe the owner does not even know where it is.
@ludwigsdiana The boat is still at the spot where it washed up but now is stripped of all the rigging, sails and contents. I presume the coast guard can find the owner through the registration number. Sad sight, that’s for sure.
