After Martha headed off to back to her "coursework" the rest of us wandered up the Strand, meandering off into the Inns of Court and Somerset House on the way.
The "flowers" on the lawn at Somerset House are actually iron and concrete. At one point both Isla and myself made the security guard smile by lying flat on the floor to try and get a shot. The funniest part was probably the sight of us struggling to get back up again...
Love this... architecture always catches my eye! The color of the flowers certainly blend with the building, but I sure would hate to have to cut the grass around that many flowers - arduous task! And I would be struggling to get back up too... probably a bright spot in a security guard's monotonous day!
That getting up doesn't get any better. At some point you start weighing the odds of getting back up against the odds of a great shot. Love the tones of this.
Ow! Love it.I'm trying to determine whether the gold window arches inside the building are a reflection or windows across the room. Fab colors, glad you had a hard time getting up. I can't seem to do it anymore. It's of grave concern! I definitely need props. All in one year!
