33a Fournier Street by rich57

33a Fournier Street

Just off Brick Lane, think was trip #2 with Andy and Aaron. Looked up this address on the web and it seems to have been Schwartz's Express Dairy at sometime. Back in 1911 there may have been 3 families sharing 8 bedrooms here - Barnett Paradise a fur skin dealer from Russia and his Romanian wife Esther.
Davis Byer a china & drapery traveller from Austria
Lazarus Carmel a furrier from Romania and his wife(also Romanian) Roske Leah............. (probably that's from the census)

Great street shot - and thanks for the history facts - especially for all those who bewail how London isn't English any more ...
