Had a look in my old photo album and realised that I hadn't seen one of those orange juice bars before. It was actually a burger bar, but I'm 99% certain this in Bristol, 1986...although could be Birmingham, but definitely 1986!!
Haha! Looked at the other shot and they are def related! The vendor (m/f?) doesn't really look at one with their work!! The general idea of the pod thing is a good way to keep your stuff secure when it closes up, maybe with the staff inside! lol
@Cherrill there must be a hatch round the back that they climb in and out of the start/end of each day! I'd like to try it, but maybe only for an hour long shift....

I love these pods! It appears they attract the same type of worker. You must not be able to engage while being in the pod. These are really quite brilliant shots. Need to frame the two together. I even love how the outfits match the food pod. Just fantastic pictures...both of them...
@payyourrates yeah wasn't sure if there's a Birmingham Evening Post? As I can see an 021- phone number in the background. Definitely took this around '86 Glastonbury and remember hitching to Bristol from Leeds to stay with a mate before and after the weekend
