Another wet day and I stayed at home so I went into the garden looking for a photo and found a slug enjoying a mushroom - om nom. There are two small slugs in the photo too. No matter what I tried I couldn't get good focus on the slug/mushroom.
This British "summer" is certainly making 365 more of a challenge. It seems just at the point I started getting home in daylight ... it started raining. I like this; I'm rather partial to slugs ... mainly because Norbert or visiting hedgehog tends to stick around more the more of them there are :) I like the way they 2 on the toadstool have wound themselves around the stem !
Eugh! I'm afraid I loathe slugs after being traumatised during a midnight trip to the loo when I was pregnant and standing on one in the corridor. God knows what it was doing there, but made me heave for months every time I thought about it.
@clareannbrady Funny you should say that.. I had a similar experience when I was 5 years old between my big toe and the next one.. I can still feel it... and I still bulk at it!

Dave's old flat was and old victorian building with a serious damp problem and we couldn't stop slugs coming in so I've stood on them a few times wandering around in the dark! slug between toe is awful! As a child I once put my hand on a huge slug on the gate at home in the dark which was horrible! It does make me squirm a little to recall such events but I don't dislike slugs at all!
