August photo a day challenge - one - as in one cracking thunderstorm rolling in from the west. The photo looks really grainy - that's just the rain that was coming down very heavily.
I wouldn't usually mind but I was in the middle of cleaning out the cars (Dave's new one needed a superclean) and I had only gone out to do them this evening because I watched a weather forecast and it said it would be dry over me this evening but gave a wet weekend. GRRRR! I got soaked and didn't get the job finished so I wish I hadn't even started!
Now the sky is an impressive shade of pink, with a fab whole-arch rainbow and the lightning is pink too!
Looks like you had some really heavy showers there. I love the bright spot in the sky giving just enough light to make the landscape clearly visible. Sorry to hear you got soaked.... hope you don't catch a cold!
