If you look at my photo from 28th Nov of my lovely rocks, follow the line of trees at the top of the fields, along to the left and somewhere just above the trees but on the far left of the photo, perhaps just off the edge is where I was standing when I took this photo. Obviously, there isn't much of a view on a day like this but I do love the mist.
I hope, before my project ends, to capture my favourite kind of mist here, but it means getting up early and I'm hopeless at mornings! I haven't photographed it since 2007 though so I should make an effort when conditions are right.

The mist here is stunning, I just have to get out early for it! The picture itself is straight - I mean I was holding the camera straight, it's the land/walls etc. that aren't straight! If I had attempted to 'straighten' this image, I think it would look wrong. The signpost leans to the left a bit which is why that isn't parallel but I don't mind it as that's the way it is.
If you do get mist here, I think the effect would be stunning.
