We began with a cliff top walk in the morning looking at the seabird colonies from above , then got drenched in a heavy downpour and spent the afternoon in a cafe in Bridlington. In the evening, we took a boat cruise around the cliffs to see the birds and cliffs from below, which was amazing. I loved being out on the sea with puffins, razorbills and guillemots bobbing on the water beside us and shags, gulls and gannets flying around and overhead. I loved this picture of some herring gulls, taken at the harbour before we boarded the boat. I sat in gull poo for this shot and it was quite by accident that they all took off just as I took the photo!
Fave -- love the motion in this. After my Lake District walking tour in July, I'll be staying for a few days at Manor Farm B&B -- walking distance from Bempton Cliffs. Thanks for making me aware of it.

It is a lovely place to visit, and all these birds will still be around when you're there. I'll look forward to seeing your pictures from the Lake District.
Thanks! I highly recommend the RSPB cruise, I'd do it again!
