well, I think it's a blusher mushroom, if my memory serves me. Taken on a lovely walk in the woods today. After a busy week, I needed a break from the computer and some outdoorsy time.
@jennywren
It was a big one. Blusher mushrooms turn pink when nibbled - I usually recognise them because something eats and hole through them and then around the hole, it all goes pink. This one looks like that kind, but minus the blush. It does look a bit pinky here, but it was brown with creamy coloured bits.
Thanks for letting me accidently hijack the Fav theme this week...my goodness responding to everyone takes some time! I will make sure to participate next week (at the right time~with you leading the charge) BTW I love mushrooms!
@httpgeffed
Thanks. No problem regarding the thread - I just responded so that you knew Jann had sorted out a replacement host for a while! I had to give up responding last week, I started off ok, but then just didn't have time for individual replies!
@roachling It was fun, but I don't think I would have the energy every week. If you need a break, just let me know, it is a big job...but I love seeing all the photos!
