My favourite tree. I'm taking a photo of it at the same time every month this year. When I arrived today it was raining heavily and there was no view beyond the tree at all, the cloud and rain was thick. The wind was strong though and as I parked and got myself ready, the rain blew over and the scene cleared which was actually quite disappointing - I fancied the misted out tree shot as a more accurate representation of changing weather and seasons.

I clicked on your tag and am absolutely enthralled with your project. I've tried something similar with a birch tree in our front yard, but never thought to take one shot per month. This scene does still look very overcast and stormy; I can't imagine how it must have been during the rain. Wonderful capture!
