I love galls and am always pleased to spot them. I spent some time sweeping up a lot of leaves today and most of the oak leaves just had various spangle galls, but then I spotted this with three red pea galls on it - I brought it indoors as I liked it so much (I'm easily pleased!) and will keep it on a shelf with other bits and pieces collected.
It must a photography thing -- I'm always bringing home bits and pieces I find on walk. I like the composition of this shot. Nice and clear, simple but effective.
