This is the only photo I took today. The different ice structures caught my eye as I left home this morning so I took this quickly. When Dave saw it he said he saw a landscape - frosty / snow (bottom left), a forest of trees as the middle layer and mountains above - I had to agree, though my (very literal, non creative) mind doesn't work like that so I wouldn't have seen it if Dave hadn't said! The sticker on the right is one I've had for years - it' the old Friends of the Peak District logo.
Wonderful image, I can see what Dave is seeing, but I am more along the way with Ian. It looks as though you are looking into the opening of some fantastic magical underground cavern, full of secrets and mystery.
This is ace! I like the swirling patterns but I also like it because it puts me in mind of looking into a zoo enclosure, pressing your nose against the glass trying to spot the animal inmate.
