A new monthly tree

Some of you may remember that last year, I photographed three different trees every month and made a collage at the end of the year - http://365project.org/roachling/365/2013-12-23.

The photo I took of another of my favourite trees last month ( http://365project.org/roachling/365/2014-01-02) inspired another monthly tree series this year - but just one tree for 2014, not 3! So, this tree will appear here at the beginning of every month this year.

Today's photo is not as nice as the previous one, but clouds were rolling in after a sunny day. I know the sun is in the wrong place at this time of year for this shot, but I'm trying to stick to the same time of day for these photos so until the sun sets later and further west, this is how it is. I have tagged it rtyear so the photos of this tree can be seen together as they year goes on.
