A family christening to attend... I'm not sure why given my family are not believers and are not very tolerant with religion, but the parents decided to have the baby christened so we had to waste a precious day off going to church and then sitting with people I either didn't know or don't like... humph! Lovely weather for a walk today too :( Oh well, it's 18 years since I last had to go to a family christening so I can't complain really!
Lovely capture of the church. Our family are much the same. We used to go to church a lot when I was a child, now its weddings, funerals and christenings like yourselves! Sadly seems to be funerals more than anything these days though. Nice to have a sunny day for a change ☺
Very nice pov and lighting. I share some of your feelings about religion, though I do appreciate that many the great works of art were created for religious reasons.
