Ramshaw Tree in July

All my usual reference points for lining this shot up each month have been lost in the long grass and behind leaves - it took ages to get this anything like it should be! It's not perfect, but it'll do.

Nicely composed. May have been even better with a little less sky and more foreground so the subject isn't central. Not sure though. Just a thought.

You're probably right, but I keep it like this as I'm taking the same shot each month and I'm a bit obsessive about getting it right, hehe! I think the central positioning looks better in the previous months, but I will definitely choose my composition carefully if I do a tree a month next year. This one wasn't intended to be a monthly shot when I took the first one! All shots of it have the same tag so they can be seen together. http://365project.org/tags/rtyear
