I'm afraid you are incorrect! This is not rare but the extremely common Branchiae Pipuscleanius, which in some parts of the remote highlands is considered a pest. It can be heard for miles because of its extreme bark.
@scolgs@oopsadaisy Thanks for your comments - I should have said, I didn't actually make this, I just took the photograph! It's an alternative take on the dragonfly (which I did make! - http://365project.org/roachling/365/2014-08-01 ) but was missing wings here.
