Fantastic evening at one of my favourite places, Jodrell Bank (it has featured in my project a few times I think!). A short film projected onto the Lovell Telescope (seen above on the left), followed by talks from Tim O Brien (astronomer and JB director) and Tony Frewin (Stanley Kubrick's ex-PA) before an outdoor screening of 2001 A Space Odyssey (which I hadn't seen before). This photo was taken during the film. I love being outdoors :) There were shooting stars whizzing past as we watched the film too.
It was such a good night, I'd like to go again tonight to the screening of Alien, but we've already bought tickets for another event this evening, so we can't.
