You have a lot of shots that are similar to mine Louise. Take a look at my album and consider whether if you changed your point of view your shots might be even better and more dramatic. For instance having back light from the sun on these leaves and isolating just a couple of them . Hope you don't mind me giving advice.
In this shot, there wasn't any sunlight to play with, it was an overcast day and last week, I was very tired and I had supply work most days so I was just happy to get a shot, any shot! This one and the stag's horn tree were both quick shots taken from in my car on the way home. Some days I try harder than others, hehe!
You have done well to catch such lovely colours in dull light Louise and thanks again for the advice about the tree being Stag's horn. I believe the bark is very soft like a stag's horn.
