Taken driving home from work this afternoon. So glad it's Friday... it's been a long week and a crappy end to it as today, some [insert your own choice word/s] was driving far too fast along the narrow lanes and took my wing mirror clean off - along with his own I think. I'm so annoyed. I know I can buy a replacement for about £20 and get my dad to sort it, but that's not the point - it's still a rubbish thing to happen and it's made me sad all day! Still, it could have been worse.
Bad luck on the wing mirror, what is it with these drivers?! Thankfully you are ok. I like how you have filled the whole tree in the shot. It looks wonderful.
@jennywren@agima Thank you... I just zoomed in to crop out some stray branches from another tree and the fence/wire... I didn't bother getting out of the car for it as I didn't fancy getting covered in snow!
Oh dear ... Hope you're OK and not too shaken. I remember this happening to my friend and me ... She only had a small mini. We were on a main road and the other car came onto our side of the road, had she not swerved, I shudder to think what would have happened ... We have no snow here. Like your lone tree ...
@junep yes I am fine, though the bang/noise it made at the time was a shock! I'm just annoyed about the whole incident really. I have reported it to my insurance company as a non-claim incident just in case the other driver somehow managed to get my number plate (whilst whizzing past!) and tries to blame me!
