Snowdrops

I've been looking out for the shoots for the last couple of weeks, wondering if the snowdrops would be early this year after such a mild winter. I found them today and it looks like they're going to be right on time - they've featured here as my 31st January or 1st February photo every year! I've also realised I said the same thing last year here!

Today was just a tad warmer than it has been and the majority of the snow has melted but part of reservoir was iced over so it's not that mild around here. despite what the weathermen tell me!

There are snowdrops out in my village, last week they were covered in frost and looked fabulous, BUT they are behind a fence and no Matter how I try I can not get a good shot:0(
