Today, I'm two thirds of the way through 365 Days Wild!
I enjoyed a brilliant five mile walk, taking in two of my favourite Derbyshire dales (Chee and Monk's) and seeing a fox, a pair of ravens and my first snowdrops of the year, as well as enjoying a ten minute close encounter with the goldcrest pictured.
@roachling I was just looking up Chee and got drawn to the Mensal Trail, walking through those old railway tunnels appeals to me. Gonna have to do them now. Thank you.
@gamelee I'm not a huge fan of the trails (I don't like long, flat tracks!) but it is great since they opened the tunnels and there are places you can leave the trail for a bit of exploring. If you do the whole length, or start at the Bakewell end, I recommend the cafe at Hassop Station ;)
Lovely shot of him, he is so well camouflaged. I have just looked at your Blog here. How blessed you are to have such amazing walks and countryside near you and being able to walk them. This walk was really lovely, the water and path through. I have never seen a dipper. Your snowdrop picture was breathtaking. It certainly deserves it's own place on 365.
