This week I'm working overtime and have a very busy week with much reduced wild time! I've also been suffering with mild tonsillitis and have minor car trouble too so everything has come along all at once!
Despite being such a busy one, the new week hasn't started off too badly on the wild front. On my way to school this morning, I met a Kestrel, who swooped down just ahead of my car and spent time sitting on a post on one side of the road, then flew across to the side of the road where I had stopped. My photos didn't come out to well due to the wind and rain and my encounter ended after a couple of minutes when a car whizzed past and scared the bird away.
@overalvandaan so am I! I'm just trying to snatch a few minutes where I can! I've not done any overtime for ages, been in desperate need of the extra cash and life has been pretty quiet, then suddenly everything happens at once and I have to work full time this week to cover someone who is off! Half term next week!

@flowerfairyann yes, it's half term next week (but I'm working for 3.5 days of it with the Wildlife Trust! I'm so looking forward to the weekend! My car is being fixed after school tomorrow and I am feeling better. I just need a nice lie in and to get on top of the washing and cleaning again now then I'll feel fine!
