365 Days Wild - Day 316

Back to school today after two weeks off. It's been a little over two weeks since I last travelled the lanes I take to work, and whilst I've been off, lesser celandine has popped up all along the road sides. My journey today was filled with the sound of chiffchaffs.

I'm also keep an eye of the frog spawn in the garden and it looks like a few of the eggs are starting to become tadpoles :)

Beautiful shot. Our road sides are turning yellow with the celandines and at places primroses also.

They may be classed as weeds but they're very pretty.

I have been seeing these flowers in most of the parks I walk in too, but I had no idea what they were called, glad to finally know the name of them, thanks Louise. This is a very pretty shot of them too. :)

Love these. There is a big patch of them near where I live, but probably not in bloom just yet--maybe with the warmer, sunnier weather expected toward the end of the week.

Celandines are always so bright and cheerful and this is a lovely shot to show them off. It amazing the changes in the roadside flowers in just a couple of weeks.
