I'm taking part in Wild Arena's July Photo Challenge this month (or at least I'm going to see how far I get with it!) and today's theme was 'summer'.
I would have liked to take a picture of a classic summer things - like wildflowers or strawberries or a picnic or something but I did my first day of sessional work for Derbyshire Wildlife Trust today so had a long day working and then torrential downpours made 'summer' a difficult thing to capture!
This photo was a sunny period, a snap whilst I had a quick lunch break. It was the best I could do!
