A great day today - visited Burghley House and really enjoyed the sculpture garden (full of hornets, dragonflies and grasshoppers as well as sculptures!) then a three course late lunch in Stamford before heading back to the cottage for a cosy evening in! This was the view from the living room window during a rain shower.
What a lovely view you have, even if it was raining. Lots of interesting wild plants growing in the foreground and I really like the light on the mown grass behind.
