i love bark shots - might be interesting to try this in black and white to bring out the texture. i think the 365 software converts to b &w.

I agree with @cfrantz - the texture of bark is fascinating and beautiful. Personally I like this in colour because the subtle hints of green lichen really add to it :)

I like looking at bark too. I was checking out the cider apple tree bark in the garden but nothing worked. This does though. Good shot.
