A full day of Wildplay in the woods today (I do a bit of work for the Wildlife Trust in school holidays). It rained for most of the day and was so muddy, but that's part of the fun. There was a campfire, bug hunting, den building, balancing on the slackline, clay hedgehogs, trails... the usual Wildplay activities. During my quick lunch break I had a nice close encounter with this little goldcrest.
