This leaf on the drive has been catching my eye for a few days. It's a dog rose leaf and it was only after taking a photo and viewing it on my computer that I noticed the leaf miner was still eating through the leaf. You can see it at the end of the dark wiggly line to the left. I went back out after dark with a torch to check and it had reached almost back to the top of the trail.
This little creature will become, I assume, a rose leaf miner moth
