Verdigris agaric or blue roundhead?! by roachling

Verdigris agaric or blue roundhead?!

Went to collect a few more rose petals from the garden for Friday's outdoor learning at school and happened to discover five of these cool mushrooms in the lawn! Never seen them before.

I initially thought they were blue roundheads but there are a few similar species and after a look in the books and a closer look at the mushrooms, I decided on verdigris agaric... but then I think blue roundheads are more common and the two species are very similar so it could be that... one of the two anyway!

Nice find, the identity is only a problem if one is a gourmets delight and the other is deadly poisonous.

Love the colours and how the grass is almost forming a circle around the mushroom.
