We drove from Gloucester to West Cornwall today, which took 7 hours!
For our honeymoon we booked a week in this fabulous accommodation. This is a replica iron age round house on the hills above Penzance. It's on the edge of a moor and in a little wood so it is surrounded by nature and wildlife. The hut is also on a working farm and the land has the remains on an iron age village on it too so it was a very interesting place to stay.
The round house is for sleeping and sitting around the fire and is just what you see here (with a hammock to the left and a big wood pile to the right) but there's also another building as part of the accommodation which has a shower room and little kitchen.
If you want to visit West Cornwall and stay in an unusual home in a very peaceful spot, I can highly recommend The Round House at Bodrifty Farm (you'll find lots of pictures of it on Canopy and Stars but we booked it through AirBnB much cheaper than the C&S price!).
Enjoy 😊
