Yellow berried rowan by roachling

Yellow berried rowan

Today was good. I had a day at home (I was meant to be out, but my plans were cancelled) so I washed the bedding, did some more name changing admin and sorted through the first set of photos from Cornwall (yep, I still haven't filled in the blanks here for the last week of August!).

This afternoon, when I'd finished a few chores, I decided against looking what was next on the to do list in favour of an hour outdoors so I went for a quick walk, three miles long, in the sunshine.

When I came home I made that crumble - apple and raspberry - and when we were eating it this evening, there was a single pipistrelle bat doing laps around the garden after insects, flying right past the dining room windows!

A cup of a tea and an early night with my book to end the day now :)
What a productive day off!! Well done

I like the curve of the rowan leaves with the yellow clusters of berries shining out. Sounds like a busy day.
