A Malayan Jungle Nymph
A large, prickly stick insect. The heaviest insect in the world apparently, and record holder for laying the largest insect egg.
I went to the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Entomological Society exhibition day at Derby University.
I was also able to hold another stick insect, cockroaches and a giant millipede :)
