Another day of work today, then I spent the evening cleaning but we also applied a coat of fire blackener and lit the first fire in our house, just to seal it, after finally buying in a few logs! Great to tick off one of the many jobs still on the house list!
I have a day off tomorrow too! And because I cleaned this evening, we can do something nice with it for a change and plan to light the fire properly for tomorrow evening, whether it's cold enough or not, and have a properly cosy evening beside it!
