Still a bit of snow on the moors... we did a 7 mile walk this afternoon, on top of the moors and lower down in the woods. This is the path on the Derbyshire / Cheshire border along Shining Tor. The sun managed to burn through the fog for a little while too!
It's so open up there. Love the part covered path, the uncovered part takes you straight to that place,and makes you look up and over the top..more today they say!
I remember this place well. How snow changes a landscape! Glad you enjoyed the walk. My dad remembers walking there when it was feet deep in the winter!
