I came to Birmingham to see VNV Nation live. It was a bit of a blast from the past, bumping into several people I used to see out on Saturday nights, at a goth night in Wolverhampton, back in the days when I spent weekends there (between 2006 and 2011!) ... The band played an extra long set, but started and finished early, which meant I got back to the hotel with enough evening left to finish the book I started yesterday! Perfect.
