This is the view from the top on Ingleborough, in the Yorkshire Dales, looking towards Whernside, another hill I'd climbed earlier.
After being invited over to spend the day with family on Saturday, I had made a spur of the moment decision to stay over night and then finally do the Yorkshire Three Peaks walk on Sunday!
This walk is just over 24 miles long and summits Pen Y Ghent (694 metres or 2277 feet), Whernside (736m or 2418 ft) and Ingleborough (723m or 2372 ft).
I completed the walk no problem but the heat made it extra hard and it was a pretty busy too on a sunny long weekend... so many people!
Massive congrats. I must have done all these at some point in my rambling past life but not all at once. And I'm really struggling with my arthritic knees now and don't think I could manage one...
