It's been a while since I spent a whole day in the woods with a group.
Today included tree faces, some drawing and natural art, visiting the meadow to spot grasshoppers and watching great crested grebes catching fish and feeding chicks on the lake. All child choice activities.
Sadly, this is my final week in this job as my contract was only temporary 😢
I'm not sure what I'm going to do from September but I really don't want to return to school now, that's one thing I know for certain after doing what was for the past five years my casual, school holiday job full time for the last 7 months!! I'm trying to decide for certain whether to be available for school supply work again or if I could survive if I ditch school/supply completely.
Oh Louise what a shame, your wild school job has been so interesting here on 365, and it's so obvious you love it. Supply work is so hard will get I the way of life, but it funds life too!!
sounds like the most wonderful day - I would definitely love that job
here in Oz supply is called casual teaching - I love it because I can walk in - enjoy the kids - a lot of the time - because I have been doing it at the one school for many years - I can do the things I enjoy most - art and nature - and I don't have to attend boring meetings or write silly programs hahaha
