I missed Wildlings last week due to my job interview. A dusting of snow this morning (melting fast once the sun came up) and it was so, so cold up here (oh the wind!) but 4 little ones came out to play and had a lovely time!
@jb030958 Sorry - I work for a conservation charity in the UK. Wildlings is the name of one of the sessions we run for children. It's like an outdoor playgroup / preschool (think mud kitchens, hammocks, campfire cooking, nature crafts, trails...) aimed at getting children outdoors. Wildlings is specifically aimed at children aged 6 months to 5 years, so the years before they start school hear. Maybe Kindergarten I think in the US?
@30pics4jackiesdiamond No, sadly, my new role is full time school groups based so I won't be doing my usual kinds of wildplay work for a while. I'll miss working here, but the timing on the new job is good for me. I won't miss getting the trolley load of kit up here every session though, that is hard work!
Ooh so lovely. Just want go on there myself..Heather took the children to Conker's at derby at the weekend. Enroute to visiting sister in law...muddy.but the so enjoyed
